What is the purpose for collecting data

Arkevista Ltd invite you to make direct contact with us through our website to pursue mutual business interests. We will be the controller of handling and processing any personal or data you provide to us. We only collect enough basic personal data about you to establish a means of communication to respond to your business interest. We may supplement this information with derived corporate data held in the public domain about your business.

What data we collect

If you wish to contact Arkevista Ltd through our website you will be directed to the ‘Click here to enquire’ button or you may select ‘Contact Us’ from the main menu. In both cases you will be asked to provide your name, company name, phone number and preferred contact email address. You may select an area of business interest from the choices provided. There is also a ‘notes’ section for any additional information that you wish to provide, for example further details about your business or nature of your interest. The details that you submit will be sent to our admin@arkevista.co.uk email address to be collected and temporarily held by our marketing manager.

Individuals rights

Before you submit your personal contact details through our website you will be given the option to select the opt in ‘I agree’ box. Actively selecting this box means that you will be consenting to your personal contact details being forwarded internally by our marketing manager to the most suitable person within the company able to respond via email to your website inquiry.

You may request details of what personal data we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998 by emailing us at admin@arkevista.co.uk. You can also use this email address to inform us of any changes that you wish to make to your personal data or any complaints that you may want to raise.

What we do with the information we gather

The personal data that you supply will be temporarily retained by our marketing manager on our company Customer Relationship Management database hosted by a cloud service provider until contact has been made with you. This database is maintained by our marketing manager under or Data Protection Policy.

If the initial contact does not establish a potential mutual business interest then your personal contact details will be securely deleted from our computer system within 6 months. We hold it for this time to ensure that we do not identify you and contact you via other means. As an alternative, you can notify us on admin@arkevista.com that you wish to be securely erased from our records with immediate effect.

If the initial contact with you establishes that there is a potential business relationship or you would like to find out more information about our services then your personal status will be updated on our company Customer Relationship Management database to reflect this.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal data to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We have an Information Management and Security Policy which regulates our physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the personal data that we collect online.
